Simulation Enhancements
Custom Simulation Resolution
In previous versions of ArtCAM, simulation quality was limited to being 4 times better than the model on which it was based. Now a new Custom Resolution option has been added to allow simulations to be created entirely independently of the model. Simulation is now only limited by the hardware capacity of your PC.
Advanced Simulation Material Shading
The simulation now benefits from the same rendering quality as the ArtCAM model. This allows not only visualisation of a finished piece in the appropriate material, but also allows a much clearer indication of surface finish.
Convert Simulation to Relief Layer
Some 2.5D machining shapes can be useful to use for modelling as well as for clipart. These can now be straightforwardly converted to relief layers with a single mouse click.
