Action Graphics - A Sign of the Times
Birmingham-based Action Graphics has always been a forward-thinking sign company, quick to implement the latest technology. When Managing Director, Dave Foxall heard about the strides that Delcam was making with ArtCAM Pro in the 3D routing field, he was keen to find out more.
Having looked at many software packages with colleague Alan Soutereau, he decided to introduce the Delcam software. "We believed that ArtCAM Pro was the most user-friendly and the most powerful. The ability to visualise the job on-screen and see cutting paths and view the model is extremely important and ArtCAM Pro handles this brilliantly." said Mr. Foxall.

"Also, the company is local to us, while the staff were very helpful in the initial stages of working with the package." he added. "Their pro-active and friendly approach has been most appreciated.
One of the first projects undertaken using ArtCAM Pro was a series of pub signs for Camerons Breweries. Action Graphics took a drawing of the company’s logo and transformed it into a series of three-dimensional signs. An even more demanding project was the machining of a three-dimensional map of the UK and Scandinavia.
"We have produced work in both time scales and complexity that we could not have undertaken without the Delcam software." said Mr. Foxall. "We have also invested in production vacuum forming equipment to maximise the potential unleashed by using ArtCAM."
"A great and exiting future is ahead of us here at Action Graphics." he concluded. "We believe the demand for true 3D routing is about to go through the roof."
